    Ruth Ann joined the Office of Grants Management in March 2019. She began as Grants Manager and moved into the position of Director in fall 2021. She is primarily responsible for research, writing, overseeing the full life-cycle for awards, and ensuring that the City meets its reporting and compliance responsibilities.

    Prior to her position in local government, Ruth Ann was Development Director at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House in Poughkeepsie for eight years. Previously, she was Director of Special Events at New York City Ballet; managed philanthropic projects at Warner Media, Inc.; and was a writer and fundraising event consultant with the New York Public Library, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, and Sanky Communications. She began her career in fundraising and communications at the Greater New York March of Dimes.

    Ruth Ann was one of the original founders of the Midtown Arts District, presently serves on its Advisory Board, and was a founding member of the Kingston Arts Commission.

    Natalie joined the City of Kingston as Grants Manager in 2022. She works with the Director of Grants Management and other departments to identify funding opportunities, write grant proposals, and maintain compliance with funding requirements.

    Previously, Natalie worked for Ulster County managing state funding, and before that at Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz as the Director of Grants. She is a Hudson Valley native and currently lives in Highland.
