Kitt PotterProject Manager & Director of Arts & Cultural Affairs @ City of Kingston
Kitt is new to the City and brings to the Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs over 20 years of experience in research, strategic planning, resource and program development, and festival/event management. Her first assignment here is to help secure approval of the Arts & Culture Master Plan and begin its implementation.
Kitt has played a lead role in securing major grants and sponsorships on behalf of education, business and government institutions as well as community, youth, and arts-based organizations in the Hudson Valley and beyond. Previously, she was Executive Director for Maverick Concerts in Woodstock, Interim Executive Director of ArtSpace Herndon, as well as a Grant Writer for SUNY Sullivan County, Director of Development/Community Events Coordinator for the Glenn Hines Memorial Boys and Girls Club and Director for the Hudson Catskill Regional Workforce Development Institute.
Kitt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Psychology from Howard University. She serves as a board member of Calling All Poets, on the Programming Committee for the Rosendale Theater Collective, and on the Woodstock Cultural Alliance. She is a Hudson Valley native currently living in High Falls, NY.

Jennifer McGregor specializes in curating and arts planning. Her place-based curating focuses on ecological, historical, and cultural concerns, Through McGregor Consulting she works nationally on public art plans, artwork commissions, and exhibitions to activate public spaces and create opportunities for artists to engage diverse audiences. Previously she conceived arts and cultural programming at Wave Hill, Bronx, NY, by connecting to the environment through adventurous exhibitions and performances that explore nature, culture, and site. She established her expertise in public realm as the first director of New York City’s Percent for Art Program from 1983-1990
