Food Systems Plan Comments

Food systems encompass all the activities, people, and resources involved in getting food from farm to fork. Resilient local food systems are vital for communities’ sustainability, viability, and equity.

The City of Kingston developed this Food Systems Plan as a blueprint for how the City can support a strong local food system and improve food security and access to nutritionally-dense food for all residents within the municipality and through collaborative action with its local community partners. 

The public comment period will be open until January 7th.
