Welcome to Engage Kingston

The City of Kingston&rsquo;s zoning code, called Kingston Forward, is a form-based code that regulates the location, design, alteration, occupancy, and use of structures and the use of land. The form-based code is focused on how Kingston grows and is designed to create a hierarchy of places (how does Kingston feel) while allowing for greater flexibility (what is permitted to happen where). It is designed to make it easier to develop in Kingston while protecting what makes our City so unique.
